Day-by-Day Itinerary
Carefully planned route for optimal acclimatization and scenic mountain experience.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Meet your trekking team and receive a briefing about the Everest Base Camp trek.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
Explore important cultural landmarks in Kathmandu and complete final trekking preparations. Visit sites such as Boudhanath and Pashupatinath depending on the schedule.
Day 3: Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding
Take an early morning flight to Lukla. After meeting the porters, begin the trek through the Dudh Koshi Valley toward Phakding.
Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Cross several suspension bridges and enter Sagarmatha National Park. Continue uphill toward Namche Bazaar, the main trading center of the Khumbu region.
Day 5: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar
Spend the day acclimatizing to the increasing altitude. Take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel and explore the surrounding Sherpa villages.
Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Follow a scenic trail overlooking Ama Dablam, Everest and other Himalayan peaks before reaching Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery.
Day 7: Tengboche to Dingboche
Descend through forests and cross the Imja River before gradually climbing toward Dingboche, a beautiful high-altitude settlement.
Day 8: Acclimatization in Dingboche
Take an acclimatization hike around Dingboche. The surrounding viewpoints provide impressive views of Island Peak, Ama Dablam and the surrounding valleys.
Day 9: Dingboche to Lobuche
Trek through the high alpine landscape toward Lobuche. The route passes memorials dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest.
Day 10: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp and Gorak Shep
Trek to Gorak Shep and continue toward Everest Base Camp. Enjoy the dramatic glacier and Himalayan scenery before returning to Gorak Shep for the night.
Day 11: Kala Patthar and Trek to Pheriche
Start early for Kala Patthar to experience sunrise views over Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. Descend toward Pheriche afterward.
Day 12: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Descend through the Khumbu Valley, passing Tengboche before continuing toward Namche Bazaar.
Day 13: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Complete the final trekking section through the Dudh Koshi Valley and return to Lukla.
Day 14: Fly to Kathmandu and Departure
Take the morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Transfer to the airport for your onward international flight or continue with your Nepal journey.
